Zhangjia Dragon Lantern

According to the public notice of January 2024, Zhangjia Dragon Lantern is an extended project in the recommended list for the fourth batch of district-level intangible cultural heritage items. Its category is traditional dance and its applicant unit is the Shiqiu Subdistrict Office. The item title carries the name Zhangjia and the applicant unit belongs to Shiqiu Subdistrict, so the place of transmission is presumably a settlement named Zhangjia within Shiqiu Subdistrict. The glossary of this library also records a "Zhangjia Village" entry, which refers to Zhangjia Village in Hefeng Town; that village is not in Shiqiu Subdistrict, where the applicant unit of this item is located, and the two must not be conflated.
